i think that's the intent of that line. of course, just because
something is written in discogs doesn't make it so, but if you wanted
to find somewhere on the internet that is likely to have referenced a
primary source, it surely has to be up there.

so yeah, go to discogs, find the release, look at the update history
and see what the source is, and then use that if appropriate. far more
efficient than actually searching for the primary source yourself!

also, discogs is useful in that you can check the label page, see what
(sourced) dates are above and below this one in cat# order and that
normally provides a ballpark date, if you have an iffy source.
