[mb-users] Box sets and earlier releases

When adding the 4 CD box "Les Miserables - L'intégrales" to Musicbrainz 
I discovered that there already was a release called "Les Misérables: 
Original French Concept Album (disc 1/2)"

http://musicbrainz.org/show/release/?releaseid=36529

While being the same CD the titles are different. I can rename the first 
two CD's to "Les Miserables: L'intégrales (disc 1: Original French 
Concept Album)" or as on the boxset: "Les Miserables: L'intégrales (disc 
1: Version intégrales studio)" But that does harm to the original title.

I can also add a new 4 CD release (as in "Les Miserables: L'intégrales 
(disc 1/2: Version intégrales studio)" and "Les Miserables: L'intégrales 
(disc 3/4: Version intégrales live)") and make a link to the first CD 
(which are still the same CD's) which is a lot of work for a release 
already entered.

Looking at this problem a saw that the Pink Floyd Shine on boxset was 
added separate from the usual releases. So adding an extra release seems 
to make sense but still looking silly because it are the same albums.

Had there already been a discussion about "also released as: ...." ?
