oh, nice, since I saw there was a way to install amarok on PC, too.  I'm
really itching to leave iTunes in the dust but I'm currently locked in by:

1. MBID submission from the program (only foobar/winamp/wmp/itunes, to my
knowledge)
2. MBID submission from a portable device (only iTunes)
2. syncing ratings to a portable device (not possible with many programs,
including foobar and foo_dop, so far)

iTunes seems to be only way to do all three at the moment, alas.
