[mb-users] Discogs data becoming open shortly - API

Hi Chris

Thats good news I was thinking about using the API as an additional 
datafeed for my tagging app (Jaikoz) for tracks that couldn't be found 
in Musicbrainz. Also because of its spreadsheet like nature Jaikoz could 
be a useful tool for submitting new data to Musicbrainz, as it is easy 
for users to see all the data they hold in their files, they can then 
submit new information to Musicbrainz. Because these users actually have 
the files they should be reasonably good at identifying whether the 
information provided by Discogs is right. However I dont think there are 
plans to allow adding of data to MB except through the web interface at 
the moment.
