I've used releases like this often to tag audio rips of the DVD. I
have several DVDs where (1) I like to listen to the music without
looking at the concert, and (2) an audio-only release doesn't exist or
sounds significantly different (due to different mixing). So I have
audio-only rips, which I like to have tagged correctly, which is
exactly what this does.

And I don't want to start the discussion again, but (a) I think it's
valid simply because this metadata correctly identifies the music on
an official release, and (b) there are other possible uses, including
ones of the official DVD (e.g., a DVD player that uses MB to give you
meta-data about what's it playing).
