I did two things.

One, I created a "news" section at the top of the front page of the 
wiki, and added a link to this project there.  I can do better than that 
in the long run, but the project has to be more mature.

Two, I changed the "wiki" menu item in the non-wiki pages to "developer 
wiki", so developers know where to start looking for code.

Maintaining the web site is fairly cumbersome, because I have to check 
changes into subversion, then wait for a script to refresh the two 
mirrors, so I'm going to start using the wiki whenever prossible.
