This can only be done if the disk is in the server, and even if it
were it wouldn't work on the Flash player for the reasons Lucas
pointed out.

However, if the disk would be in a different computer from the one the
site is hosted on, you would have to host some kind of http server on
that computer too.  Then, you would have to use URI's for the audio
tracks instead of the file:// protocol, which is for local files only.

P.S: Lucas, I agree with Bjorn that you should probably set a
xspf-help mailing list and rename this one to xspf-dev.  This should
help greatly organize where people post on.
