The double-dash causes the perl XML::Parser to blow up.

Through much pain in dealing with charsets over the past year and a half. :)

the encodingFromString() function checks for different well known types.

Yes - you can punch a http XSPF URL into the "Radio Tune In" field in our
webUI.. or if you are browsing a Podcast or RSS feed that links to an XSPF
document, that will work as well. The XSPF document does not need to be local.
