[Playlist] process for managing logos?

Any suggestions on what sort of process we should have for for managing 
logo submissions?  Do we need a winner-take-all contest, or should we 
just post up all the submissions and let third parties who need artwork 
pick their favorite?

I can think of three functional purposes for the artwork, each of which 
have to be taken into account:
- a big picture on the website banner
- something that makes sense on t-shirts, coffee cups, thongs, etc
- a small badge on individual blogs
