[Playlist] StreamFinder.com and XSPF parsing

Hi,
I saw your replies to my request and just wanted to clear up some things...
Our plan is to spider all playlists that are submitted and save the
listings so that they are searchable by Artist Name or Song Title...
this way if you are looking for 'Stereolab' you can find it in a
submitted XSPF playlist or in a recently played tracklist from a
shoutcast server etc.
We are really excited about the decision to work with XSPF playlists
on StreamFinder.com it seems that with the demise of WebJay there is a
void out there. (WebJay is going dark soon...) We would like to help
people promote and share their playlists. And again - we do not
hotlink to music files - we turn all traffic over to the owner of the
playlist.
As far as free vs premium listings - we do offer a 'sponsor' account
level that puts a station or site logo on our homepage and places that
station / site as a top result in their chosen genre - similar to
google sponsored results. $10 a month. I hope there is nothing wrong
with trying to cover our hosting and bandwidth costs this way. We
still offer the free level and always will. Nobody has to upgrade.
We are very open to .ogg and .flac formats on our site and do offer
our Now Playing information for icecast as well as shoutcast servers.
So hope that clears up our mission and what we are doing - if you want
to list us on your page that would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris C.
