Do you mean Peter Pawlowski of Foobar2000?

Is this your observation or did you read this somewhere?
I'd like to read myself what they say about this.

Why another library in C++? What's the problem with LGPL
and libSpiff? If you have ideas on improving libSpiff please
share them.
