My apologies.  From the main distros, Gentoo is one of the few whose
progress I don't follow.  That will change from now on.  But it's very
good to know this, and your interest in this subject is very much
appreciated.  Please keep up the good work.

If it's not asking much, would the Gentoo project be kind enough to
promote Xiph's formats publically?  By that I mean something like a
banner on the website, or whatever you people see fit.  If it's not
much of a bother.
