My personal opinion on this is that it generally is a good idea to
promote xiph's products, but for linux distributions that is especially
hard. If Gentoo was to put a banner on their site for every format and
standard they support, it would need several extra pages ;-)
Nevertheless, if you want to work on any kind of cross-promotion, you
might want to ask Luca Barbato (lu_zero) as he's a lot more involved in
xiph and also part of Gentoo.
