So, maybe let's revive this thread.

As promised I've prepared the server I use for testing purposes.
It is running icecast-2.3-kh16pre
You can reach it here:
http://www.ruecker-itk.de:8000/

http://www.ruecker-itk.de:8000/source1-hi.ogg.xspf
http://www.ruecker-itk.de:8000/source1.ogg.xspf
are on-demand per-mount generated xspf files (.m3u is also there)

Those will need to be linked from the status page mentioned above. Does
XSPF have a logo we could use as a button? (I'm not referring to the
valid-xspf thing)

http://www.ruecker-itk.de:8000/xspf.xsl
This is on-demand per server. It returns all currently connected mount
points as a nice xspf file.
I'm a bit puzzled why Totem doesn't like this one from my server at the
moment...

The xslt sheet and example documents can be found here:

please also check out the generated xspf files and make suggestions
about what to do with the annotation content.

The test streams should be available for at least 24h from now on
(unless my source client freaks out while I'm AFK)

Cheers

Thomas
