I saw that one, it is on the pages like

that I could see real utility to an href to the xspf file.

On Grabb.it we use this in the document head to link to xspf:

<link rel="alternate" type="application/xspf+xml" title="Welcome to
Grabb.it /  Grabb.it XSPF" href="/plays.xspf" />

I think there are a few other sites that are going to add this feature
as well, so that might be one way to do it, but it is less friendly to
the average user. Just a link to the xspf from the slideshow page
would put the whole thing in context.
